Abacus Catering Hire has been supplying stylish crockery, cutlery, glasses linen and furniture to all the best parties and weddings in the area for over 20 years. We have a wide range of hire stock (including three different china patterns to choose from) and can often source hard to find items for you.

Sarah Parks Young, Proprietor, established the business in 1991 after running a local hotel which specialised in weddings and events. This background, along with over 2 decades of running the hire business, has given Sarah a great deal of knowledge and expertise in all types of functions and she is always happy to offer guidance and advice as you plan your function to ensure you get exactly what you need and nothing gets forgotten.

As a small family run business our customers appreciate that we offer a complete service tailored to your individual requirements. Unlike many of the larger hire companies we are able to supply hire items in smaller quantities and often at short notice. We are also always available to speak to if you have any queries, last minute amendments or concerns about your order.

We supply to a wide range of clientele including individuals, caterers, schools, party/wedding planners, hotels, restaurants, nursing homes and local businesses.
